According to Republic of Fritz Hansen:
minuscule™ … is designed for informal settings. The name minuscule represents the informal and understated style, for which the Scandinavians are so famous.
minuscule has a simple and elegant design that emerged as the result of a series of experimental workshops involving designer Cecilie Manz and the Republic of Fritz Hansen. The workshops revolved around materials, and there were no preset guidelines or creative restrictions. “To me, design always begins with the material. I need to put my hands on all the materials before I can tell if they’re something I can work with,” says designer Cecilie Manz.
Recently, Cecilie Manz received the prestigious 2012 Good Design Award for the Minuscule Chair and Table … and we can see why. What do you think?
